Dental Care at Santa Clarita Valley Dental Care During the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Crisis
As novel coronavirus (COVID-19) diagnoses continue to increase around the world, we are committed as always to providing a safe and hygienic environment for our patients and team. Updates may change day-to-day but currently, our doors are still open, and we are maintaining business as usual in our office. We do kindly ask, for the health and safety of patients and our staff, that we are currently open just for patients with emergencies and severe discomfort. Of course, we will continue to use strict precautions with every patient we interact with to keep you safe!

Questionnaire
To maximize safety, patients will be provided with a screening questionnaire before seeing a member of our dental team. The questionnaire will ask about such concerns as respiratory symptoms, especially coughs, and fevers. Once we establish that patients are not feeling any symptoms associated with the COVID-19 virus, we will provide them with special mouthwash to eliminate microbes and reduce the chances of transmission. Naturally, we will also be taking every possible step to ensure that procedures are always performed with maximum safety and hygiene.
What to do during the COVID-19 crisis
At this time we are all being asked to avoid contact with people outside of our households and to go only go on essential trips. If you have minor dental symptoms and are experiencing symptoms associated with coronavirus, we ask that you very carefully practice social isolation and all actions recommended by the CDC and wait until after you have fully recovered before seeking care. If you are having an oral health emergency while also exhibiting possible coronavirus symptoms, seek immediate emergency medical care or call 911 if the situation is potentially life-threatening.
In the meantime, we will continue to monitor the situation and stay in touch with both medical and public health authorities as we strive to provide patients with outstanding care while protecting the health of everyone.
